Breakfast this morning: Cream of wheat enriched with vanilla and egg.
I wanted something hot and comforting and then I found this recipe on the Kitchn. For you Germans, cream of wheat is Griess here.
I topped mine with chopped up dried figs, a little pat of butter, and — since I am Canadian — maple syrup. It was exactly what I wanted and quick to make. Luisa liked it too.
