I’m doing the #febphotoaday challenge, set up by @fatmumslim on twitter. Here’s the outcome of the first five days:

Day One: Your View - taking a morning walk along the canal, standing on Hobrechtbrücke at the end of my street.

Day Two: Words - my current flat has had a rotating tenancy of art students, some of whom at some point stole a load of pink letters from an art project at their college and hung them in the kitchen. We recently rearranged them to spell Ice Cream Dream.

Day Three: Hands - flicking through records at my local record store on Sanderstraße, this is Serge Gainsborough smoking.

Day Four: A Stranger - this lady sat opposite me on the U7 on the way back from the theatre, totally absorbed in her book. She was reading Gone With The Wind in Japanese.

Day Five: 10am - choosing my morning poison. I went for the espresso coffee which I brewed on the hob, and drank four shots worth. Which is why I’m absolutely WIRED right now.
