"pedestrian"; "flâneur"; a "gentleman stroller of city streets"; "lounger"; "saunterer"; "loafer"; a "person who walks the city in order to experience it"; an "idle man-about-town"; a "complete philosophical way of living and thinking".
The walls are the desk against which he presses his notebooks; newsstands are his libraries and the terraces of cafés are the balconies from which he looks down on his household after his work is done. -Walter Benjamin,"The Flâneur"

Day 11 - Something that makes you happy: waiting at the arrivals gate at Tegel airport for Jordi and Irene who’ve flown in from Heathrow.
Day 12 - Inside your closet: can you tell I like wearing blue?
Day 13 - Blue: The fahrrad fountain (currently frozen over) at potsdamer platz. ‘Riding Bikes’ by Robert Rauschenberg, with a nice blue illumination.
Day 14 - Heart: German Lebkuchen. Biscuits and bakeries everywhere, this is not a place to diet but to drink coffee and chase the sugar high.
Day 15 - Phone: an old school model which I found under the bed of the room I’m renting. It now sits beside the bed.
