Somehow I didn’t know that BB’s was closing, and I missed the whole thing and now it’s done.
Insult to injury… it’s going to be a froyo shop. Oh nyc.
You should read Jeremiah’s Vanishing New York. It lets you know what’s being chased out by yogurt shops.
Sounds like a book that someone should be writing about Berlin …

Happy Martinstag Germany! We’ve been making Weckmänner …
Ich geh’ mit meiner Laterne / Und meine Laterne mit mir. / Dort oben leuchten die Sterne, / Hier unten, da leuchten wir. / Der Hahn, der kräht, die Katz miaut. / Rabimmel, rabammel, rabum. / Der Hahn, der kräht, die Katz miaut. / Rabimmel, rabammel, rabum.
Opening Hours
Most of the time, we open at 9 or 10 am, sometimes at 7 am, other times not until 12 or 1 pm. We usually close around 5:30 to 6 pm, but sometimes already at 4 or 5 pm, and sometimes we stay open as late as 11 pm or midnight.
Some days or afternoons, we’re not here at all, but lately we’re here almost all the time, except when we’re someplace else, and even then, we should actually be here.
